A setup wizard, and the modules you do not use, hidden
A new business is walked through its setup in a few screens, and any business can hide the parts of the product it does not use — Materials, Workers, Transactions — from its navigation.
The product had grown to nineteen navigation items, and every one of them showed for everybody. Now modules are switches: a business that never sees a subcontractor hides Workers; one that does not connect a bank hides Transactions. Hidden means gone from the navigation and from every door that led there, not disabled behind a message.
A setup wizard replaces the checklist for a new business: the basics, how you get paid, what you do, which modules you want. It can be left and finished later, and the checklist on the dashboard says what is still open.
