What you run on day one
Everything below is on the plan you are on today, and works for a crew of forty as it does for a crew of four. Each links to its page.
- Day Board — The day as lanes, one per person, and who is running behind.
- Scheduling & dispatch — Who can do each kind of work, who should take each job, and when it could be done.
- Timesheets & payroll export — A timesheet per person per pay period, approved and sent to payroll.
- Commissions & pay rules — What each worker earns from a job, and from what they sell, worked out when the customer pays.
- Inventory — Stock in the shop and on every van, the parts each job used, and what to restock.
- Purchasing — Suppliers, purchase orders, receiving, and supplier bills checked against what was ordered.

- Webhooks, API & inbound leads — Tell another system when something happens here, let a program work with your records, and take leads in.

What Scale adds
- 15 office users included, and more at $20 a month each, with no ceiling and no quote. Field workers are never an office user, on any plan.
- Larger allowances: 15,000,000 AI tokens and 2,000 receipt scans a month, and up to 25 connected bank accounts.
- Set up by a person: your clients, their equipment and your Price Book brought in from the files your old product exports, your office users invited with their roles, and a session with your crew on their phones.
- Priority support by email, from the person who built it: your emails are answered before anyone else's, with a reply within one business day, at support@smgtools.com.

What a month costs
A team plan prices the office, not the crew. Two companies, worked from the prices on the pricing page:

At 27 people: Crew costs $125 a month less. At 60 people: Scale costs $65 a month less.
The field workers cost nothing on either plan. Billing says when the other plan would cost less, and moving between them keeps everyone.

What a company your size may expect and SMG Tools does not do today. Each comes off this list the day it ships.
- A native phone app. Today: Your crew’s day runs in the phone’s browser, with nothing to install.
- Card readers and tap to pay. Today: Your client pays the invoice online, by card or Apple Pay.
- Roles beyond Owner, Manager and Field, and roles you build yourself. Today: Owner, Manager and Field, each deciding what a person can reach.
- Everyone signing in through your company’s Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace, and SAML. Today: Each person signs in with a passkey, a password, Google or Microsoft, and you can require a second factor.
- One history of who changed what across the business.
