Add a service by saying it

The assistant can now add and change the services customers book and your kinds of work — the only two settings it reaches, each on a card that shows what it replaces and when customers will see it.

You add a service customers can book whenever the work changes — a new line of work, a price that went up, somebody new who can do it. Until today that meant finding a desk and Settings → Bookable Services. Now you can say it, or type it:

“Add a bookable service, drain cleaning, 90 minutes, $189, Sam does it.”

The assistant fills in the same card the settings page uses, and waits. When online booking is on, the card tells you plainly that customers can book it the moment you save — there is no draft, because a service is live the moment it exists, and you should know that before you press the button.

Changing one works the same way: “Make water heater replacement $1,350.” “Jordan does sump pumps now too.” Each field on the card shows what it holds now above what you said, so you can see what you are replacing. If somebody changed the service on screen after the card appeared, saving does nothing and says so.

Your kinds of work are the other list: “Add a job type called drain cleaning,” or rename one.

These are the only two settings the assistant can reach. It still never sends anything, charges, or deletes, and the diagnostic fee, archiving a service and a job type’s target margin stay on their settings pages — ask for one and it tells you where. The assistant is part of Professional and the 90-day trial.
