E-signatures with a record, and change orders
Draw or type a signature, consent to sign electronically, and get a frozen PDF of what was signed; change orders extend a job after acceptance and roll onto its invoice.
Accepting a proposal is now an e-signature in the legal sense: the signer draws or types their name, consents to signing electronically, and the document is frozen as a PDF at that moment, with the time, the address it was signed from and the signature attached. Nothing that changes later can change what was signed.
Change orders handle the scope that grows after acceptance. Write one against the job, the client acknowledges it the same way, they are told by email, and an accepted change order can be picked up onto the job’s next invoice.
