Every tool on the website, and a page for each
smgtools.com/tools lists everything a service business can add to SMG Tools, in the groups an owner thinks in, with the plan that includes each — and every tool has a page of its own.
The home page used to describe SMG Tools in twenty-two feature cards and eight long sections. smgtools.com/tools now lists every tool a service business can add, in seven groups, from getting work to knowing your numbers, with what each one does and which plan includes it. You can search the list, or narrow it by group or by plan.
Every tool has a page of its own. It says what the tool does and why you would want it, which plan includes it, what it works with and the trades it suits, and it links to the help page that explains how to use it. A connection such as the QuickBooks export or the bank feed also says what comes into SMG Tools and what goes out.
The listing is written from the same list the product runs on. It cannot describe a tool the product does not have, or put one on a plan the product does not. The home page now leads with eight of those tools, and the pricing page’s what Professional adds comes from the same place.
