Getting paid online, asked early
The setup wizard asks how you get paid; an invoice that cannot be paid online says so before you send it; and the dashboard checklist is shorter and ordered by what matters.
The wizard’s money screen asks how the business gets paid and offers to connect Stripe there, framed around what it gets you — paid faster, no chasing checks, the customer paying from the invoice in their hand. It is skippable; a cash business is a real business.
An invoice now says, before you send it, what it will ask the customer to do — pay online, or not, because payments are not connected — so a bill that cannot be paid from the phone is never a surprise. The dashboard checklist is shorter, collapses instead of vanishing, and puts taking payment above uploading a logo.
