Notifications on your phone
What is addressed to you now reaches your phone as a notification — a mention, a client's reply, a job put on your day, a booking — and the office hears when a day runs behind. On every plan.
Nobody in a van reads email. Now what is waiting on you arrives as a notification on your phone or computer, and tapping it opens the thing itself.
Turn it on once per device. On Profile → Notifications, press Turn on under This device and allow notifications. It works on Android, and in Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari on a computer. On an iPhone, add SMG Tools to your Home Screen first — Share, then Add to Home Screen — and turn them on from there.
What arrives is what already waits for you. A mention, a client’s reply, a reply that needs filing, a booking to confirm or a new one, a purchase to say which job it was for — the same items For you holds, to the same people. A field worker also hears when a job or a visit is put on their day.
The office hears a day is running behind. Turn on Tell me when a day is running behind in Automations, and the owner or a manager is told the moment a crew falls behind its planned day, before the customer calls.
Your lock screen stays discreet. A notification says what happened, who and on which job — never a note’s words, an amount or an address. Each kind has its own switch, separate from its email.
