A Professional plan, billed through Stripe
A free Starter plan and a paid Professional plan, with the subscription managed through Stripe and the features each plan unlocks stated plainly.
SMG Tools has two plans. Starter is free and is the default. Professional is a monthly subscription that removes the minimum transaction fee on payments and unlocks the features that cost money to run — receipt scanning, bank sync and the AI tooling as they arrive.
Subscribing happens through Stripe Checkout; the card, the recurring charge and the receipts are Stripe’s. Upgrade and downgrade from your organization’s billing page. Every plan change is confirmed by email.
Later: the plan names and prices change more than once — a third plan appears, is renamed, and Professional’s price moves — and the entry for each change says so on its day.
