Sign in with a password, with Google, or with Microsoft — and a second factor
The product's own sign-in: email and password, Google or Microsoft, accounts you can link and unlink, a password reset that works, and two-factor authentication.
Sign in with an email and password, or with the Google or Microsoft account you already have. An account can hold more than one of these — link a Google sign-in to a password account, or add a password to an account that started with Microsoft — and unlink them again. Forgot your password? The reset link arrives by email and works once.
Two-factor authentication is available on every account, with an authenticator app or a code by email, and recovery codes for the day the phone is lost.
Until now sign-in was handled by a third-party identity service. From today it is the product’s own, which is what lets everything above exist without a separate login screen from somebody else.
