Switch in an afternoon, leave in a minute

Bring your clients, units, equipment, materials, job types and services in from a spreadsheet, take any list out as a CSV in the columns it came in, and see every way in and out on one page.

Every comparison a business makes has a row for can I bring my data in, and can I get it out. The first decides whether you switch at all; the second decides whether you trust the product you switched to. Both answers are now the same page.

Import & export, under Organization beside Your Data, lists every way data comes into your account and every way it goes out, and shows the last ten imports so did it work is answered by the page.

Bring the cabinet in. Clients, the units at their properties, your equipment, your materials, your job types and your bookable services each come in from a CSV the same way: download the template, fill a row per record, choose the file. The whole file is checked before anything is written — a client whose email or phone is already on your list is refused by name, never merged; a service naming a job type you do not have is refused rather than inventing one — and every problem comes back at once, so the spreadsheet is fixed in one pass. When every row is good you see what will be written and confirm it. Nothing in a file gives a client permission to be texted; that is theirs to give.

What happened stays where it happened. Old invoices, payments and hours are not imported. Here they would be a history that never took place, and a margin figure, a dashboard and a tax report built on it. Keep the old system’s export as a file; the day you stop opening it, the move is finished.

Every list comes back out. Each importable list exports in the same columns it came in, so a file can leave, be edited and return. Invoices, time entries and service agreements export in the columns their pages show, honoring the filter the page has. The whole account is still one archive, whenever you like.

Get Started gains Bring your client list, so a business setting itself up is pointed at the import before it types a hundred names.

On every plan. No export fee, no onboarding ticket, no support ticket to leave.
