Your pipeline on one board
Leads, calls the assistant took and quotes you sent, on one board from first contact to won or lost — drag to move, act from the card, and see which quotes have gone quiet.
Monday morning, the question is what is in the pipe and what is stuck — and the answer was spread across three lists. Now it is one board, beside Leads.
Five columns, from first contact to the end. New is every lead nobody has reached yet — from your public page, a client’s referral link, the directory, the booking page, or typed in at the truck — and every call the assistant took that is waiting in the queue. In conversation is the leads you have spoken to. Quoted is every proposal you have sent, with what it is worth, how long it has waited, and whether the client has opened it. Won and Lost keep the last thirty days: what just became a job, and what got away.
Drag where a drag is honest. Drag a lead to In conversation and it is marked contacted; drag it back and it is not. Drag a lead, a call or a quote to Lost and the board asks first, then archives, dismisses or declines it — the same thing its own page does. Drag a quote to Won when the client said yes by phone or in person, and the board records the acceptance and makes the job. Drag a lead to Quoted and the board opens the page where the quote is written, because a quote is written, not dragged. Anything else is refused with a sentence saying what that move needs, and the card goes back.
Act from the card. Every card has a menu with what its record’s page offers: write a proposal, convert a lead to a client, convert a call to a lead, book a visit, resend a quote, mark it accepted or declined. Each opens the flow you already know.
The board’s one opinion. A card nothing has touched for a week — no send, no view, no status change — is marked Stale with the day count, and the header says how many. The Quoted column’s header adds the count opened and not yet answered, because a quote the client has read and left is the one a call would move. The dashboard’s Needs Attention now counts stale quotes too, with a link straight to them.
Nothing is stored to make this work: a column is a status on the record, so the board and the lists can never disagree. Two people with the board open see each other’s moves within a minute. Owners and Managers, on every plan.
