A new look — on the site, in the console, and in everything your customers get

A new mark and typeface across the site and the console, the pages your customers open, and the emails and PDFs you send. Nothing for you to change.

Sample business
A job's page in the new look: a completed water service line replacement on its Financials tab, its $6,400 of revenue less expenses, labor and equipment, and the $2,877.50 of net profit it made.

SMG Tools looks different today, everywhere at once: the website, the console you work in, the pages your customers open, and the emails and PDFs you send them. What it does has not changed, and there is nothing for you to set up.

A new mark and a new typeface

The new SMG Tools mark is on the website, in the console, in the browser tab, and on a phone’s home screen when you add the console to it. The site, the console and your PDFs are set in a new typeface, Geist. A link to SMG Tools shared in a message now unfurls into a card in the new look.

The website

Every public page has one header and one footer. The menu works on a phone, and Cookie Preferences is at the foot of every page. The tools listing and the help index are laid out as a catalog, with the groups in a rail beside the cards where the tools listing had a group filter. The home and pricing pages are in the new look, with Professional as the featured plan.

The console

The console is in the new look throughout. The Tools page has a side rail for its filters and roomier cards, three across. A job In Progress is now teal and a Completed one green, so green means done everywhere you see a status.

What your customers see

The proposals, invoices and pages your customers open now look like your business’s own careful documents, with icons drawn rather than emoji. The emails and PDFs you send have the new look too, with your business first and SMG Tools only in the footer. SMG Tools’ own emails to you wear the new brand.

Nothing to do

Your logo, your wording and your settings are where they were, and nothing you recorded moved.
