Every visit has its own status, and payments are their own schedule
On a job of many visits, each morning has its own On the way. Milestones are the stages of the work, and the money is a payment schedule that always adds up to the price.

A job used to be built around a single visit. On a three-week remodel the crew tapped On the way on day one and the job stayed On site overnight, day two sent your client no text, and a paid deposit counted as a stage of the work. Now the visit, the job and the money each have their own record.
Every visit has its own status. On the way, On site, Done — or Missed, with why, and Book again to put it back on the calendar. Each morning starts fresh, so every day of a long job sends its own on-my-way text and has its own tracking page. A crew lead can clock the whole crew in on a visit at once, and the hours land on the visit they were worked on.
The visits are the schedule. The Day Board, My Day, route plans, the calendar and Find a time all read the same visits, and a job’s page lists its own. A job with no visit booked waits once in the board’s Not yet scheduled list with Book a visit, instead of filling a lane every day of its dates.
Milestones are the stages of the work; the money is a payment schedule. A job’s payments — a deposit, a payment when a stage is done, the balance — always add up to the agreed price, with change orders on the balance or on a payment of their own. When a stage is finished, its payment shows up in For you for whoever does the billing, and Bill it opens the invoice. A milestone carries no money, so a paid deposit never counts as work done, and the job’s progress is one figure: stages done over stages.
One way to make a job. A signed proposal, a paid deposit, Mark Accepted and a won deal all make the job the same way, keeping everything the proposal knew. Accepted change orders count in costing and in margin alerts.
What your client is sent is true. The job summary shows the agreed price, the payment schedule — paid and still due — and the job’s progress, never your costs. It goes the way your other messages do, with a link to your client’s hub and a text where they take texts, and it is recorded in their history, sent or not.
Nothing to switch on: it is the job, on every plan. Work that was already on your books moved over once, with every amount your clients were billed left as it was.
