SMG Tools is now an app. Download it on the App Store for iPhone, or get it on Google Play for Android, and sign in with the account you already have. It is free on every plan, for the office and the crew alike.
It is the same SMG Tools, not a smaller one: your crew opens on My Day with the day’s visits, Directions, the clock and photos; the office has every page it has on the web. What the phone adds is the camera for job photos, receipts and a unit’s nameplate, a scanner for equipment labels, Sign in with Google, Microsoft or Apple through the phone’s own sheet, passkeys, and files — an invoice’s PDF, a label sheet — that go to the phone’s share sheet to save, print or send. A link in an email from SMG Tools opens the app; your clients’ links still open in their browser.
The app keeps itself current: most changes arrive on their own when you open it. Your plan is managed on the website, as Apple requires of an app like this one. The app carries no analytics and never reads your contacts, calendar or texts.
