Stock in the shop and on every van
Count the shop and every van on a phone, catch every part a job used, and know what to restock, what sits unused and what your stock is worth. On every plan.

A ball valve is sitting on the next van over while somebody drives forty minutes to the supply house for one. The fittings, the expansion tank and the gas connector come off the van and are never billed. Now the product knows what is where, and what each job used.
One list. Your Price Book is the parts list: tick Track stock on a material, and it is counted — by the box if you buy it that way, by its barcode, or by its serial number. The old Materials catalog is part of it now.
Every shop and every van. Count each place on your phone, scanning barcodes or picking from the list; the first count is the starting stock, and each van has a count day each month. Receive what comes in, move parts between places, and let technicians ask for what they need.
Every part a job used. A technician records parts from their van on the visit, the office records them on the job, and an invoice that sells a stocked part takes it from the van when it is sent. Before an invoice goes, the parts used and not on it are offered to add. Each part reaches the job’s costing at what it cost.
Ready for tomorrow. A sold proposal fills the job’s materials list, held at the shop or moved to the van; on Professional, the assistant can draft the list from jobs like it. From noon, each technician sees what tomorrow’s visits need that is not on their van.
From the water heater to the customer’s equipment. A unit received by its serial and fitted on a job is offered as the customer’s own, with its install date and the maker’s warranty.
And what it all comes to. What each count found missing and on whose van, the parts no invoice sold, what sits unused, suggested restock levels from what goes and what is booked, and the year’s inventory on your tax summary for your accountant.
Inventory is on every plan; drafting a job’s materials list with the assistant is on Professional.
