Plans and billing

What Starter, Professional and Crew each include, how the transaction fee works, and how to change or cancel your plan.

Every plan, with some parts on Professional or Crew Your account and your data

There are three plans, and the line between them is simple enough to state in a sentence: Starter is everything that runs on our own systems. Professional is everything that runs on somebody else’s meter. Crew is Professional plus a team.

Understand what each plan includes

Plan Transaction fee What it includes
Starter 0.25% + card fees, with a $1 minimum Everything that runs on our database — clients, jobs, proposals, invoices, payments, costing, checklists, reporting, your public page
Professional 0.25% + card fees, no minimum Everything on Starter, plus the things that cost us per use: AI drafting, receipt scanning, file and photo storage, text messages, maps and bank connections
Crew 0.25% + card fees, no minimum Professional, plus office seats and unlimited field workers

That rule is worth knowing, because it predicts the answer without you having to look anything up. A calculation over your own records is on Starter. Anything that spends on a model, a carrier, a storage bill or a bank API is not.

Know how the transaction fee works

The fee is deducted from the payment, never added to what your client is charged.

A $150 invoice is a $150 charge to your client. On Starter, $144.35 reaches you after our 0.25% and the card processing.

The $1 minimum on Starter is what Professional removes. On small tickets that is the whole argument for upgrading: on a $40 service call, $1 is 2.5%.

Change your plan

Upgrade or cancel from your Billing page. Payment details, receipts and recurring charges are handled by Stripe rather than by us — we never see or store your card.

A change takes effect on your account immediately, and the features it gates follow.

Know what happens if you downgrade

Nothing you recorded is deleted by changing plans. What changes is what you can do next.

Where a feature stored something — a receipt image, a job photo — the record stays and the stored file is what becomes unavailable. A checklist report you already generated stays yours; a plan change is never what stops a customer being told what was done.

Get credit for referring somebody

If you invite another business and they subscribe, you earn credit against your own bill. See Referring another business.

This page describes Subscription & Entitlements - Documentation. It is written from that feature’s record and covers what has shipped, never what is planned.
